a) When visiting the website

When you access our website, your browser automatically sends information to our website's server. This information is temporarily stored in a log file. The following information is collected automatically and stored until it is automatically deleted:

  • Website from which access is made (referrer URL)

b) When using our contact form

When you submit inquiries to us via a contact form, your information from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent. The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore based solely on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

c) Applications (online application form/lead forms)

When you apply via our application form on the website or via lead forms (e.g. Meta/Instagram/Facebook), we process the personal data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, information on professional experience, start date and content of your message) exclusively for the purpose of carrying out the application process and contacting you.
The legal basis for processing is Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) in conjunction with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b of the GDPR (initiation of an employment relationship). If we store application documents beyond statutory retention periods, this will only be done with your consent (Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of the GDPR).
The recipients of the data are exclusively the responsible persons within Sugar Brands GmbH. Data will not be disclosed to third parties unless legally required.
Storage period: If no employment relationship results, we generally delete application data no later than 6 months after the conclusion of the application process, unless there are legal retention obligations to the contrary.
Source/Platforms: When applications are submitted via lead forms, the information is transmitted to us via the respective platform; the platform may also process data independently in accordance with its privacy policy.
